A Singapore Bodybuilder’s famous Singapore Idol contestant Steven Lim has been killed in the city-state after the celebrity Muay Thai fight, incident organizer and local media have said.
On Saturday, the match was 32-year-old Pradeep Subramanian’s first Muay Thai battle, the Straits Times newspaper said on Sunday. Subrahmanyam, the original opponent of Lim, was a late replacement for Sylvester Sim, who had pulled out due to insurance issues.
Sim and Lim, both a YouTube personality, were competitors in the first Singapore Idol series in 2004.

After the match was won by 41-year-old Lim, Subramaniam was taken to the hospital where he passed away.
This match was part of the inaugural Asia Championship championship, which was organized by Auxede events, an event management firm and muse fitness club, a Muay Thai training facility.
Subrahmanyam passed away at Singapore General Hospital in approximately 1300 GMT on Saturday, the Asian combat championship said in an email statement.

“According to the preliminary medical report released by the Singapore General Hospital, an episode of the respiratory failure of heart attack to Mr. Pradeep Subramanyam, which passed him,” the statement said, the final medical report will be released in 30 to 60 days.
Lim said in a Facebook post: “Relax in peace, I really have respect for fearless warriors and fighter and awesome boxing instructor, Pradeep Subramaniam.”
